ANTENA 1 TV STATION
The concept of this project originates from its very function — the Sibiu headquarters of one of the country’s most renowned television stations, Antena 1.
The design draws inspiration from a stack of television sets, shaping both the architectural language and the volumetric silhouette of the building.

Something about the project.
The interior structure supports the core function through a flexible floor plan, wrapped in a lightweight metallic façade. A wide screen-like wall for the second floor studio, as well as the open panorama from the third floor terrace allow for a natural and living background of the city skyline for both indoor and outdoor studio sets.
Given its urban context, the ground floor opens to the public and hosts a local grocery store, reinforcing the building’s connection to the city and its community.
The basement hosts the building’s own cafeteria.
