Something about the project.
The project aimed to transform the existing house and summer kitchen into contemporary living spaces (two private suites) while preserving its valuable architectural character.
Converting the old barn into a kitchen and dining room was a full-fledged challenge, as it required the full disassembly and reassembly of the wooden structure. It now services all of the four guesthouses hosted in homesteads spread over the village — a vibrant, functional core closely connected to the courtyard of the Yellow House.
